Franklin Liranzo is a professional Latin dancer, choreographer, instructor, competitor, judge, and photographer based in New York City. His dance trajectory has lead him to become a 5 times world champion, along with his partner Lucia Jimenez and Mari Yogo.
Franklin Has traveled to numerous prestigious events around the world such as the World Salsa Summit (Miami), World Salsa Solo (Australia), Canada Salsa Congress, Calgary Salsa congress, has Houston Salsa Congress, Aventura Dance Cruise, Vietnam Salsa Festival and countless other festivals for the last 10 years.
Since Franklin’s competitive career started (2013) he has always placed in the top ranking positions, making him a world class dancer.
Aside from many of his winnings Franklin Liranzo is also a well recognized competitor in the Professional-Amateur categories: where Franklin trains Amateur dancers with little or no dance experience: then compete at over 12 competitions every year nationally and internationally. In total the number of winnings (1st, 2nd and 3rd place) exceeds more than 520 medals , between four students in the last three years alone.
As a photographer Mr.Liranzo has photographed some of the most iconic dance figures in the industry, such as: Anya Katsevman, Griselle Ponce, Karel Flores, Tito and Tamara, Karen and Ricardo, Sekou Mcmiller, Jorjet Alcocer, Alien Ramirez, and many others…
He has also been featured as model and photographer for Burju Shoes, In-love Magazine and numerous websites world-wide.
Currently Franklin speaks English and Spanish, has three college degrees: Associate in Human Resources, Bachelor in Fine arts, and Masters in Digital Photography.
