Kadu and Larissa
Kadu and Larissa are considered one of the best Zouk couples in the world.
Kadu is an accomplished Brazilian teacher-performer who, at just 24 years of age, boasts a dance resume brimming with first class credentials. He has taught at Brazil’s best known, and best respected dance academies, including Rio de Janeiro’s Jimmy de Oliveira, Alex de Carvalho, and in Paraná at Espaço Latino and Estética Ghor Academies. He has a wide variety of television, festival, special event and professional appearances to his credit, and has completed studies in Advanced Zouk, Advanced Salsa, Advanced Samba, Samba Rock, and Contemporary Ballet with leading Brazilian dance teachers.
Larissa is talented dancer who started her dance studies at the age of nine, and completed a professional dance course in 2002, followed by tertiary studies in dance at the University of Arts of Paraná. She is a former member of El Paso de Dança, and has taught contemporary and classical ballet, and contemporary dance at various academies in Rio de Janeiro. She started her studies in Brazilian partner dance at Carlinhos de Jesus’, Jaime Aroxa’s and Jimmy de Oliveira’s Academies in Rio de Janeiro, and has since joined Jimmy de Oliveira’s Dance Company as a performer and instructor.
