Juan and Pascale

Juan is one of the most sought after Bachata Instructor in the scene. He has taught hundreds of workshops throughout Australia, Asia, Europe and the Americas. He is the director of Bachateros Australia, the first dedicated Bachata school in Australia, pioneers of the Bachata Moderna movement, with a syllabus and moves that are used all over the world. In addition, Juan is one of the directors of the prestigious Sydney International Bachata Festival

Pascale Dernocoure is the epitome of a trained dancer, with over 10 years experience in ballet, jazz, tap and contemporary dance. Pascale has achieved numerous successes through her Latin Dancing career, especially in Salsa. Now, Pascale has decided to focus in Bachata and achieve as many successes as she did with Salsa.

Even though a short partnership, Juan and Pascale have positioned themselves as one of the strongest Bachata couples in the scene. Their Bachata Moderna style is a more stylized style of Bachata were dancers can add different footwork and transitions and yet remain true to Bachata form, maintaining the feeling & emotional elements that makes Bachata what it is.
